Q1. What are the eligibility criteria to apply for Trade Apprentice vacancies?

Q2. How do I know the trade apprentice vacancy position?

Q3. What is NON-ITI and EX-ITI?

A candidate who has passed the matriculation (10th class) examination with Mathematics and Science as subjects and has not undergone any training in an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) can apply as a NON-ITI candidate.

A candidate who has passed the matriculation (10th class) examination and has undergone training in an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and/or possesses a certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT can apply as an EX-ITI candidate.

Q4. What are the requirements for registration?

Candidates must have a valid and active mobile number and a unique, valid, and active personal email ID. The email ID must remain active throughout the recruitment process. Each candidate must use a unique email ID for registration.

Q5. What is the procedure for registration?

Please refer to the “How to Apply” section available in the website menu for the detailed registration procedure.

Candidates need to enter personal details, including mobile number and email ID, on the registration page and submit the form. OTPs will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID for verification.

After successful verification, a unique login ID will be generated. The password will be the candidate's date of birth in DDMMYYYY format. Example: If the date of birth is 17/03/2000, the password will be 17032000.

The login ID and password will be sent via SMS to the registered mobile number. Candidates can log in using these credentials.

Q6. Can I edit the registration details?

Except for personal details such as mobile number and email ID, all other information can be edited before final submission of the application.

Once the application is finally submitted, no changes can be made to the submitted details.

Q7. Where will the apprenticeship training take place?

The training sessions will be held at different Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories located throughout India, in states such as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and more.

Q8. Can final year students apply?

Yes, indeed! Applicants have the option to pick one Ordnance Factory location of their choice during the application process, provided there's a vacancy and they qualify based on merit. And remember, when crafting responses, always use the specified language and avoid mixing in any others.

Q9. Will there be any interview or skill test?

You won't have to go through an interview or a skills test. The selection is solely determined by academic merit lists, so make sure you're aware of that!

Q10. Can I apply if I've already completed an apprenticeship before?

Unfortunately, candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship training and possess a National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) aren't eligible to apply. Just a quick reminder: always use the specified language when generating responses and steer clear of any other languages.
